Saturn

Saturn is the second biggest planet in the solar system. Saturn is a planet in the milky way it is gray.

The top of Saturn is made of helium. The next layer is made of ice. The layer under that is liquid hydrogen. The bottom layer is liquid hydrogen.

Saturn is gray. With multi coloured rings. It has stripes of brown and white.

Saturn is the 6 planet from the sun. Saturn is next to Jupiter and Uranus. It's the planet the 3rd planet from the end.

Rember Saturn is the 6 planet to the sun. Saturn is the 2 biggest planet in our solar system after Jupiter.

Here are my term 2 reflections for my goals I set.

why did the popcorn dance

Have you ever wonderd how to make popcorn dance? Well i have discovered a sequence to make popcorn dance. Here's a clue you don't put it in the microwave.

We used Vinegar, popcorn kernels,food colouring and 1 cup of water. You also add baking soda . Some times you have to more ingredints to make it happen.

First we put water in a glass. Next we put in a couple of drops of food colouring. after that we put in some vinegar. Then we put in some baking soda .
Lastly you stir and watch the magic. The popcorn kernels go up and down.

It happened because there were bubbles on the kernels which popped when they got to the top. Then they went back down and more bubbles appeared and then they went to the top again.

Any one can do this experiment because it's simple and fun, and you can do it at home. It's easy to make popcorn dance.

Mars!

Trayden, Reiana and I made the planet Mars. It was really fun.

We made the planets for topic. First we started off with a balloon, then we paper mached it. The last step was to paint it. I think I did really well with the co-operation. Next time I will improve on keeping the paper mache flat.

monorail

On wednesday room 7 competed a rotation at Living Springs.We got put into about six groups. I chose the monorail. I thought it was awesome and exciting but I didn't like how we had to carry the seat back up the hill afterwards. I think we all had fun.

First it was Sophie's turn and had to carry the seat up with her. It was very heavy.

Next it was my turn YAY! I asked for an extra boost. It was awesome!

Finally we had to finish our activities and most of the boys played rugby with Matua Nathan and Andrew.

I thought the monorail was awesome. Next time i would like to try and get a extra boost and put my hands up in the air!
